Sidi Bou Said at night: whitewashed Tunisian houses with domed roofs and blue shutters stepping down a clifftop toward a dark sea and marina, lit warm amber under an empty dark sky.

Software development in Tunisia

Softwise is a software development studio with its head office in Tunis, building mobile apps, SaaS platforms, CRM systems, and ERP integrations for Tunisian clients. The work is done by 20+ in-house developers covering iOS, Android, data, and AI, with no subcontracting. Tunisia is one of the markets behind Softwise's 100+ delivered clients, alongside France, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Canada.

What we build

What we build for Tunisian clients

The same catalogue as every other market, built by the team sitting in Tunis.

  • Native iOS and Android
  • SaaS and multi-tenant
  • ERP and CRM integrations
  • On-site in Tunis

Native iOS and Android apps

Native applications built by in-house mobile engineers who also handle store submission, review responses, and the fixes that follow a release. Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android, so the app behaves the way each platform expects.

SaaS platforms and multi-tenancy

SaaS platforms covering authentication, roles, billing, dashboards, and the multi-tenant architecture underneath them. Work ships in tested increments, so the product can be steered while it is being built.

ERP, CRM, and back-office data

ERP integrations, custom CRM builds, and Salesforce or HubSpot wired into the systems around them. Data engineers sit on the same team as the application developers, so the integration is architecture rather than a patch added at the end.

Work

Delivered in Tunis

Proof from the home market: three service brands consolidated into one native super app, and a logistics fleet run from inside the ERP that already held the accounts.

The project

A Tunis startup running three separate service brands: home cleaning, appliance repair, and small-parcel delivery. Three apps meant three store listings competing for the same users, three logins, and marketing spend split three ways.

The outcome

3 apps consolidated into 1, one account and one wallet across all services

The team

In-house Softwise engineers

The project

A road-freight and distribution company in Tunis running a mixed fleet of trucks and delivery vans across domestic routes. Accounting already ran on ERPNext. Everything about the vehicles themselves did not: positions lived in the telematics provider's web portal, fuel in monthly supplier statements, maintenance in the workshop manager's own spreadsheet, and insurance and vignette renewal dates in a wall calendar.

The outcome

Four disconnected sources consolidated into ERPNext, maintenance moved from reactive to odometer-scheduled

The team

In-house Softwise engineers, no subcontractors

  • On-site when useful
  • No travel cost

One team, no subcontracting

Every engagement is delivered by in-house developers covering iOS, Android, data, and AI. Nothing is passed to a subcontractor, so the people who scope the work are the people who build it and the ones who answer for it afterwards.

Tunisia questions

Straight answers, including where the answer is no. Ask us directly.

Softwise has one office, in Tunis, Tunisia, and that is where the team works from. There is no second office and no subcontracting: the 20+ in-house developers covering iOS, Android, data, and AI are all part of one team. Clients in Tunisia can meet the engineers who will build their product.

Yes. The head office is in Tunis, so for Tunisian clients on-site work, workshops, and in-person reviews are ordinary practice rather than a travel expense. Remote works equally well, but proximity is available in this market in a way it is not in the others Softwise serves.

Yes. Softwise built a home-services super app for a Tunis marketplace startup, consolidating three separate service brands into one native application. It includes an in-app wallet recording card top-ups and cash-on-completion against the same ledger, because most Tunisian customers still pay cash.

Arabic, French, and English. Requirements, reviews, and day-to-day communication run in whichever your team uses, frequently more than one in a single meeting, with the same in-house engineers who are building the product rather than through an account manager.

No. Every engagement is delivered by Softwise's own developers. The 20+ in-house team covers iOS, Android, data, and AI, so the people who scope a project are the people who build it and the people who answer for it after release. Nothing is passed to an outside studio.
